World leaders are scratching their heads wondering why this hasn't happened yet. We are not dealing with the same issues over & over, different situations come up. What is going on right now is very minor. We are at the end of this & it will RV. The longer it is delayed, the higher the rate will be...the rate will be high. THE RIGHT TO SIT AT A DESK.
A lesson that should be taught in all schools . . And colleges.... Back in September of 2005, on the first day of school, Martha Cothren, a social studies school teacher at Robinson High School in Little Rock, did something not to be forgotten. On the first day of school, with the permission of the school superintendent, the principal and the building supervisor, she removed all of the desks out of her classroom. When the first period kids entered the room they discovered that there were no desks. 'Ms. Cothren, where're our desks?' She replied, 'You can't have a desk until you tell me how you earn the right to sit at a desk.' They thought, 'Well, maybe it's our grades.' 'No,' she said. 'Maybe it's our behavior.' She told them, 'No, it's not even your behavior.' And so, they came and went, the first period, second period, third period. Still no desks in the classroom. By early afternoon television news crews had started gathering in Ms. Cothren's classroom to report about this crazy teacher who had taken all the desks out of her room. The final period of the day came and as the puzzled students found seats on the floor of the deskless classroom, Martha Cothren said, 'Throughout the day no one has been able to tell me just what he/she has done to earn the right to sit at the desks that are ordinarily found in this classroom. Now I am going to tell you.' At this point, Martha Cothren went over to the door of her classroom and opened it. Twenty-seven (27) U.S. Veterans, all in uniforms, walked into that classroom, each one carrying a school desk. The Vets began placing the school desks in rows, and then they would walk over and stand alongside the wall. By the time the last soldier had set the final desk in place those kids started to understand, perhaps for the first time in their lives, just how the right to sit at those desks had been earned, Martha said, 'You didn't earn the right to sit at these desks. These heroes did it for you. They placed the desks here for you. Now, it's up to you to sit in them. It is your responsibility to learn, to be good students, to be good citizens. They paid the price so that you could have the freedom to get an education. Don't ever forget it.' By the way, this is a true story. And this teacher was awarded Teacher of the Year for the state of Arkansas in 2006. Please consider sharing this story so others won't forget that the freedoms we have in this great country were earned by U. S. Veterans. “The Government of God in 2012”
Isaiah 9:6-7:
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the GOVERNMENT will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His GOVERNMENT and peace there will be no end.”
I believe that 2012 is a strategic year in both our nation and the Kingdom of God. One of the key indicators is the fact that 2012 is a Year of Government in our Nation. Much of the nation’s attention is focused on the political process and the upcoming elections. As important as these elections are, it is more important for we believers to understand the role of God’s Government in our lives. In Biblical numeric’s, “12” signifies the “Perfection of Government.” By understanding the significance of the number “12” in scripture, we can begin to understand the importance of the year 2012.
Consider these facts…
1) In Creation – the sun “rules” the day and the moon and stars “govern” the night by their passage through the 12 signs of the Zodiac, which complete the year.
2) 12 is the number 3 (Divinity) and 4 (Earthly) multiplied, denoting that 12 is a number of multiplication and increase.
3) 12 Sons of Israel fathered 12 Tribes, which constituted the Nation of Israel
4) There were 12 Judges during the period of the Judges
5) The New Testament Church was established by the 12 Apostles
As citizens, we must understand the function of God’s Government if we are to enjoy its benefits. In Isaiah 9:6-7, the Prophet declared that with the birth of the Messiah would come the Manifestation of God’s Government. This scripture reveals important functions of the Government of God…

4-Aspects of God’s Government
1) On His Shoulder
The use of the word “Shoulder” reveals that God’s Government is “Strong” and “Sure.” The “Shoulder” signifies the strength to carry and undergird His Government. Unlike the political systems of the earth, God’s government carries the burden of its citizens, rather than heap burdens upon the shoulders of its people (Matthew 23:4).
2) Increase
Increase is the natural result of God’s Government. An example of this is Jesus feeding the multitude with 5-loaves and 2-fish (Matthew 14:19-21). As Jesus blessed and broke the food, a manifestation of God’s Government occurred. The scripture records that every man, woman and child ate until they were full – with “12” Baskets Full remaining. The increase of God’s Government turned a deficit into a surplus.
3) Peace
Peace symbolizes the reign of the Messiah. Thus His title – “Prince of Peace!” When Jesus commissioned His “12” disciples as the Apostles of the Church, He said to them – “Peace to you. As the Father has sent Me, I also send you” (John 20:21). The 12 Apostles would endure great persecution in laying the foundation of the Church. The Peace of God was essential to their success in the face of such resistance.
4) No Limitations
Isaiah 9:7 states – “Of the increase of His government and peace there will be NO END!” Isaiah described a Government without the limitations of time and resources. The Messiah is the “Prince of Peace” who rules over His Kingdom by promoting perpetual Peace and Prosperity.
The activation of God’s Government is found in the Titles that Isaiah attributes to the Messiah. In verse 6, he declares – “And His name will be called…1) Wonderful, 2) Counselor, 3) Mighty God, 4) Everlasting Father, 5) Prince of Peace. These titles reflect the Positions of Power the Messiah holds as the Head of State (Colossians 1:18). This power grants Him access to the resources of the Government with the right to bestow them upon His people.

“How can we experience the Manifestation of God's Government in 2012?”
The answer is found in the first words uttered by the Messiah in scripture at the Age of 12. In Luke 2:49, Jesus responded to His mother – “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s Business?” At 12 years of age, Jesus began to understand His Kingdom responsibility and its place of priority in His life. Notice the result in verse 52 – “And Jesus INCREASED in Wisdom, Stature and in Favor with God and men.”
As you and I experience the Power of God’s Government in 2012, it will be the result of making our Father’s business our top priority. The Government of God functions as the Business of God. When we make God’s Business Our Business, then the Increase and Peace of His Government will be manifested in our lives. Therefore, we must divorce ourselves from the distractions and preoccupations of 2011 and involve ourselves in the Business of God.
As a citizen of the Heavenly Government, I declare over you that the burdens you carried in 2011 will be lifted from you in 2012; the deficit that hindered you in 2011 will become a surplus in 2012; the turmoil of 2011 will be replaced with peace in 2012; the limitations that restricted you in 2011 will be overcome with unlimited Peace and Increase in 2012. Your God is Wonderful, He is your Counselor, He is your Mighty God, He is your Everlasting Father and He is your Prince of Peace. You will increase in Wisdom, Stature and in Favor with God and Man!
As you and I experience the Power of God’s Government in 2012, it will be the result of making our Father’s business our top priority. The Government of God functions as the Business of God.
